Our Perpetual Calendar project (saga) Showcase
Well this turned out to be a project and a half, but worth all the effort in the end.
This was when we started and one of the reasons it has taken so long is that when I first showed the ladies my idea, only 2 of them wanted to have a go as the others had other things they wanted to do. So, letting the others get on with what they wanted to do I started Irene and Jackie off on their calendars, but when the rest of the group saw what we were doing, yes you guessed it, they decided they wanted to make one too.lol.
There are probably easier ways of doing this, but doing it “my” way, they got to have a play with lots of different techniques and it was all all done in stages and not rushed. Hopefully the group have learnt (and remembered) a few things along the way.
So finally here are the groups finished calendars. after all the hard work they have put into these, they deserve to be showcased. Great work girls
which just leaves Diane who still just has the base to complete due to having to miss a couple sessions, nearly done though
Don’t they all look fab? well worth all that time and effort.
I will post a full tutorial ( with templates) and will also include the techniques that we used too. Though these calendars can be decorated any way you wish – raid your paper stash, gelli prints etc ( you will need approx 4 sheets A4 card/paper to cover all the boxes and bases). Check you dies, I know I found a spellbinder lite die which was the perfect size square for the number boxes.
